What a great evening at our Christmas do! It was lovely to see everyone chatting away, enjoying themselves. It was brilliant to see so many spinning tops and Christmas ornaments, they were all excellent. And the standard of the spinning tops in the competition was great too. Thumbs up to Rob for his top that was not only well-decorated but also lasted for over 75 seconds. Thanks to everyone for supporting the raffle, we're looking forward to see what can be made with those wood blanks that were won! Wishing all a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Cransley Hospice Visit (4th September 2025)
A very different club night last night. Sarah Caldwell from Cransley Hospice came to Cranford and told us about the terrific work the hospice does for patients in North Northamptonshire. We then presented her with the Tea Set which will go into the hospice’s annual auction. Hopefully it will make a little money to support them. Following the presentation there was quite a bit of discussion about what the club can do to help the hospice. It seems to me that there but for the grace of God go we! A big thank you again to all present last night and especially to the Tea Set Team, many of whom couldn’t be there.
10th Year Anniversary Evening (7th August 2025)
